Lorcan wrapped his hand around my wrist tightly, pulling me behind him as we followed Dullahan into the living room. Dullahan walked into the room’s center depression and flopped on the couch. His head fell back and he sighed.

“It’s never simple with him. He twists all situations into a chaotic game with rules only he knows,” Dullahan grumbled with his eyes closed. Lorcan pulled me down to the couches, guiding me to sit right next to Dullahan.

Dullahan was warm and large. His size was even more daunting as I sat directly next to him. I could smell a wild night on him—the street, his bike, and something smokey. He cracked his eyes open as Lorcan sat right next to me, caging me between them. I swallowed thickly and then looked at the contract in my hands.

It was the perfect contract. I got everything Viktor had. Everything. An immediate switch of ownership to one Lacey Flanagan.

The contract seemed like more evidence that he’d planned to become me. I snorted. Really, I should be more upset about his failed attempt to eat me but it was almost charming. Plus, he’d protected me from Remington without the slightest hesitation. I’d never forget watching him transform into a tiger and rip a man’s arm off for pointing a gun at me.

The contract didn’t even have a clause requiring me to help them like they so desperately wanted. My hands started to shake in excitement. He’d already signed this. All I needed to do was sign it fast. I could have it all and be done with these men without needing to do anything for them. Just my luck. Plus it would serve them right for attempting to mess with me—even if it had been entertaining, to say the least.

My eyes darted around the table in front of us but I couldn’t see a pen. Dullahan snatched the contract from my hands and I sucked in a breath, my hands darting out after it. He pulled it from my reach and I ground my teeth and climbed on top of him.

“Give it back,” I insisted, straddling his lap as I tugged on his arm and reached for the papers.

“Nah, you’re much too excited about it. Need to take a look over it myself before you go signing anything,” Dullahan said with a smile.

Hands suddenly slid around my hips from behind. Dullahan peered around my head to look at Lorcan now standing behind me.

“Lorcan,” he said in warning. A warm laugh slid up my back as Lorcan began to press my hips forward, connecting my body with Dullahan’s in our most intimate places. His fingers trailed up my spine and then buried in my hair, pulling my head to the side. His mouth feathered my neck and his magic scent filled my nose. His forked tongue slid up my neck while Dullahan sat there watching.

I tried not to squirm on the giant’s lap but couldn’t help myself when Lorcan’s mouth found mine and I could taste that delicious flavor of his.
